TV show Monkey gets remake!

For those of you who remember the TV show Monkey!

The show has been revived and there is a new version currently in production!

Masaaki Sakai is the only true Monkey!!!

Plus of course the gorgeous Masako Natsume as "three baskets" Tripitaka, bringing sexual confusion to many a redblooded growing lad.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Oh god, it makes me so happy every time I hear that opening. Tongue

As to remaking monkey, they did that a while back, made a movie of it using the Monkey Magic name and everything. It sucked.

And remakes of the original Journey to the West story are a dime a dozen, so it's not as though they're messing with perfection, but rather that perfection has already been messed with a bunch of times.
