To quote yourself: "Just because you believe something, doesn't make it real."
You misread. I did not say it was empirically proven. The statement merely suggests that it shouldn't be put in the same comparison as a religious messiah figure. They hold no basis in reality, but only Mythological lore. The Multiverse Theory has basis in Scientific reality and does not deviate from such.
It may not be wholly finalized in a uniform evidence, but the study of the universe both sub-atomic and macro-universal, suggest that the theory is not inherently farfetched.
So, in short. To compare the Multiverse Theory with Religious Figures is like comparing the the argument that Harry Potter is real with the possibility that Bigfoot might be real.
Harry Potter is entirely fictional and has no evidence suggesting it could ever work in our reality. However, though unproven, there is evidence to suggest the possibility of a homonid like creature such as Bigfoot. It has basis in reality even if Bigfoot itself isn't real.

Who are they?

The personal relationship I have with Christ is going well. Yes every day and no need for land lines or cell phones. It's all heart to heart. The last two are to childish to have to answer.
Your "personal relationship" sounds like a silly fantasy. Many children have invisible friends when they are young. Most grow out of it.
What sounds silly to you makes perfect sense to me. Those children grow out of it because their friend is imaginary it has nothing to do with invisibility. Jesus is not invisible He has a body of incorruptible flesh. There were 500 wittness that saw Him after the resurrection.
As far as I'm concerned any one who gives credence to the dead-jew-on-a-stick routine is xtian... and they are welcome to the title.
Jesus is not dead He was crucified and He was resurrected. I'm not sure what you are trying to do by using an abbreviated form of christian. My guess would be to insult.

I give a great deal of thought about the world and it's rejection of Christ and it has never been nor will it ever be my intention to force my beliefs on anyone. I will however defend my beliefs until the end of my days. I'm sure that some of my interpretations of Scripture are flawed I'm only human and can not know the whole mind of God.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

What you have to understand here, GC, is that you're dealing with kiddies here who are very content with their newly-adopted notions of atheism, and have no intention of listening to any reason. These are mainly teenagers (or not much older), and most of them are atheists as a rebellion to their parents, and are quite happy having freed themselves from the perceived oppression of religion. My point is keep on going with your message if you'd like, but don't take any of this personally.

And what you have to understand here, ATM, is that you're 'dealing?' with skeptic individuals who are very content with not believing your bullshit, and have no intention of ever not being skeptical. These are mainly humans (so far as we know), and most of them are atheists because they are as theistic as a stone, and are quite happy living without any fear that 'God' shall banish us to Hell if we don't believe (which we don't). My point is keep on going with your idiocy if you like, but don't expect any of us to take you seriously.

You keep telling yourself that buddy, you keep telling yourself.
And the ones who aren't rebelling?
The ones, who after much reasoned debate and extensive research STILL came to the conclusion
that religion is at best a security blanket for the weak minded and at worst a massive con job?
How do you explain them to yourself?

That's why the average age here is mid-twenties (if not higher) and why most of us have been atheists for most of our lives. You are a fucking idiot. We've heard your kinds of argument before, they simply don't work on us. Maybe they work on some people, but we actually like to approach things skeptically. If your argument fails to work on someone, perhaps it is the argument at fault, not the person.

I could claim to have a "personal relationship" with Captain Kirk and it would have just as much validity as your claim of having a personal relationship with Jesus.
Quote: Jesus is not invisible He has a body of incorruptible flesh.
So Jesus, despite being dead, has a body made of flesh? So, he has a heart that pumps blood? If that's so, what happens if his heart stops pumping?
Quote: There were 500 wittness that saw Him after the resurrection.
Really? Do you know any of their names? Did ANY of them write down what they saw? Because there is absolutely NOTHING in the historical record regarding a man named Jesus who performed a bunch of miracles and was publicly executed.

How do you explain them to yourself? To clarify, I didn't mean everyone on this forum. You are obviously older, and I can tell from your arguments. But the great majority of people here, on this thread at least, are youngish people who have not been atheists very long, and find comfort in the idea of no longer having to adhere to the standards of believing in a deity, mainly as a rebellion to oppressive church lives as youngsters. Ironically, this is the worst reason to be an atheist.
You are apparently more set in your belief, but these kids do not hold their views from a place of true contemplation. They do not clearly understand what they're into, and you can tell from their juvenile arguments, where they invent sci-fi-style scenarios and mimic popular atheist catch phrases.

I don't see how any of that detracts from their right to be heard and taken seriously, whatever their age. If they can put a logical argument fair enough., the ''juvenile arguments, where they invent sci-fi-style scenarios and mimic popular atheist catch phrases.'' should keep you on your toes, and prevent all of us from taking ourselves too seriously.
'True contemplation'? What is that?
' Do not fully understand what they're into'?...Is this some sort of drug, this non-acceptance of God? If they are young, let them fly free. You were the same once, I hope.
