The Queen Has A Question.

RE: The Queen Has A Question.
Right. They can't offer a single sentence as to why religion shouldn't be mocked, just that it shouldn't. All religious people are crybabies? It's like taking candy from a baby?

The fact that they are saying it shouldn't be mocked is another reason to mock it.

It's like Rick Perry insisting that he be taken seriously as a theortetical physicist.

That would be the point. Suppose a political party demanded not to ever be mocked? ---- It's happened, but we don't revere those politicians.

Throwing a temper tantrum only makes it worse for the religion in question. Before they were laughing at your religion, now they're laughing at it and at your reaction to their laughing.

It's much worse than a temper tantrum. It's indirect victim blaming in the wake of a terrorist act with international implications. It's the precise thing you don't want to do if you truly want people to respect you and your belief.

Insisting your belief be treated like a sacred cow is only going to antagonize people.

It must be a pathetically weak and feeble religion if it's scared by something as trivial as a cartoon.
