This is the kind of person who I would have absolutely not hesitate in saying is heading for jail at some point in his life for raping/murdering someone.
A seriously disturbed individual who probably has a diagnosis of some sort of mental health condition. Hopefully he's being treated for it...hopefully. 
I would further hope that he is describing delusions or fantasies rather than reality.

Apparently, he came close to doing a murder-suicide on a teenaged girl he was stalking, didn't understand that it was illegal when he was arrested, said later that the only tragedy in the situation was that he didn't go through with it, and, since the criminal justice system in Croatia is apparently not good, he didn't even go to jail. So, yeah. It wouldn't surprise me in the least.
