It means that you will come on Atheist forums and blast me with your political opinions, that's for sure.

Besides utterly ignoring the OP, you conflate liberal with Democrat.

We need a political party made up of live-and-let-live liberals.

We could call it the Liberal Party. Big Grin (Not to be confused with any currently existing Liberal Party.)
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.

Every political ideology has people what like to blast their opinions on others. Progressive liberals (that are better classified as social democrats) are pretty good at doing this, but so are conservatives that say allowing same sex marriage is going to destroy the nation or that tradition should be kept even if it's harmful. I know that in America there's no relevant communist (I mean literally communist/marxist) but they're not any less annoying than conservatards or "progressive liberals".

I certainly could use a viable party that's roughly aligned with my interests - neither of the current ones qualify.

No one in history has ever founded a political party called "The Thieving Scumbags Party." That would be truth in advertising but it doesn't win elections.

I'd vote for that kind of honesty.

"I think I use the term “radical” rather loosely, just for emphasis. If you describe yourself as “atheist,” some people will say, “Don’t you mean ‘agnostic’?” I have to reply that I really do mean atheist, I really do not believe that there is a god; in fact, I am convinced that there is not a god (a subtle difference). I see not a shred of evidence to suggest that there is one ... etc., etc. It’s easier to say that I am a radical atheist, just to signal that I really mean it, have thought about it a great deal, and that it’s an opinion I hold seriously." - Douglas Adams (and I echo the sentiment)
