Beliefs are just beliefs. They are like opinions, never totally solid and set in stone. I don't believe in Buddha, but I want to become a buddha myself, in my own modern, twisted like black gam licorice in it's quixotic way. If it is something delusional,...then what do you say?
You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.
There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth; not going all the way, and not starting.

My Buddhism is always flexible and adaptable, so how could it ever become heavily mired in dogma? I keep the truth. The truth is what is.

I too have decided to focus on truth, and thus I have adjusted my signature line accordingly. (ha ha)
Christian - A moron who believes that an all-benevolent God can simultaneously be a hateful jealous male-chauvinistic pig.
Wiccan - The epitome of cerebral evolution having mastered the magical powers of the universe and is in eternal harmony with the mind of God.
Atheist - An ill-defined term that means something different to everyone who uses it.

Truth sans evidence or sound arguments, rgr. There's a word that better describes such "truths". Belief.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Love is actually, fundamentally, the only truth. WE stupid humans forget that so often! Especially me, I get very cold sometimes. Pardon me for my own ignorance and conceit, fellow onliners. I like to have GOODTIME too, just like you!

Truth is nice, but facts are better... if you can find them that is.

Love is truth in exactly the same way that toast is a printed circuit board.

You say this:
"My Buddhism is always flexible and adaptable, so how could it ever become heavily mired in dogma? I keep the truth. The truth is what is."
And this:
"Love is actually, fundamentally, the only truth."
And yet you claim to be non-dogmatic.
Uh-huh. There's a sale on Kool-aid Mountain Berry Blast at Safeway this week, by the way.

If you had to earn someone's love it wouldn't be love.
It would be nothing more than conditional tolerance.
