Incorrect, Abra. Love is not free. It is a medium of exchange.

The problem with that Abra, is that I don't conditionally tolerate my wife. I love her, and she did earn it (there was a point where I just liked her a lot). So, at least in the case of my love for my wife your definition does not apply.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I have proof positive that it's not.
I love my cat. I can say that because I truly care about it's welfare, I care that it's well-fed, I care about it's health. I feel really bad if it is harmed, etc.
Yet my cat couldn't give a rats ass about me.
So it can't very well be a medium of "exchange".
But I will agree that love is not exactly free. Cat food is expensive!

Some of them are spirit cats.
But the spirit cats do love me.
They also don't required physical cat food.
So I guess spiritual love is free after all.

You'll never know where it's at
till you've been loved by a spiritual cat.

Do you leave milk on the doorstep in the evening and find it gone in the morning, leaving you to conclude that the only possible explanation is ghostly kittens?
I have a confession, it wasn't kittens, it was me...
No, seriously though, I am responsible for your spirit cats, and you can't rule that out.

My great grandmother started hallucinating cats near the end of her life. Just how old are you, Abra?

And hello to you too.
By the way my meaningless life is great, I have a lovely family and a beautiful wife.
Why should I 'study'something to have an opinion on it?
I often that by studying something you can see things that arent really there. like seeing a face in the pattern of wood.
The more I read Bgood, the more I realize how innefectual Buddhism can be.
I thought meditating was supposed to rid you of those hateful thoughts?

Your love for your cat is not the same as your love for a human being-um, unless you're weirder than even I think. Nice try, but no cigar.

I'm living on borrowed time, so I'm actually past the end of my life.
