That woman (whom I am currently refraining from calling her names) claims she got PTSD from tweets. It had nothing to do with rape or sexual assault. And when actual soldiers who suffer from PTSD called her out on her bullshit, she threatened to have them essentially fired.

I'm not talking about any person in particular. I prefer talking about ideas. Dyres implied that people who serve in our armed forces should somehow be immune to "these attacks with words". I obviously don't condone the type of bullshittery in which this specific woman was engaging, but I also don't like the idea of giving the military a free pass.

I'm not saying they should but if something like rape and or harm to another person is done they should be called out on it. I am not trying to defend rape in the military that is sick. I understand those types of things happen but what i was only trying to say is for the ones who do some actual good and not do terrible shit like that should be left alone. If people who did rape and or harm others in the military they should be put out there.

Unfortunately, there are plenty of cases in which the command structure in the military (vastly and overwhelmingly male) shuffles these kinds of things under the rug.

Read my post after that, that should clear up this bullshit about misrepresentation.

According to this report, the lecturer actually did criticize feminism. If that's what she did, then I can only say that she misrepresented feminism if what that group believes in is pretty much the same stuff that feminists (even that loud outspoken feminist) believed in.

And that's probably why the feminist was reading that list to the MRA guys to make it clear to them that they are supposed to be helping each other.

And, anyway, please let's not forget what my original question was. That lady is not a feminazi (as loud and obnoxious as she may seem to some people) who says that all men are rapists and deserve to be raped or die or what have you. If anything, she expressed a desire for men to be treated fairly as well and claimed that patriarchy is a problem for men as well.

Regardless of the yelling and fire alarm, I support what she said and am with her all the way.

OK firstly I don't think that website is even an actual news outlet at all, it just seems to be a blog that was writen by a clearly biased man. There was no mention of misrepresentation of feminism at all she just criticisied it. You're acting as if the feminists were justified in pulling the fire alarm because of the criticism. And anway, all that is hearsay, we don't know what was actually said in there so it's pointless arguing about it.

Helping each other? She showed clear and vicious contempt for them, she didn't want to help them, she just wanted them to be wrong and publicly shamed. You watch that video and tell me that she wants to work with them.

Oh right because there are some people out there who wouldn't find her loud and obnoxious.

Well, since we aren't working with a solid definition of 'feminazi' its pretty easy to say that. I think that based on her actions and the actions that she condoned (pulling the fire alarm) that is enough to qualify her as that.
How many atheists protest churches? When has Richard Dawkins or Sam Harris or Hitchens ever screamed abuse at people?

She expressed a desire for men to be treated equally by preventing them from listening to a lecture of the opposing view? By throwing free speech out the window? Doesn't sound very fair to me.

It's like you're scared to disagree with them. Actually I don't blame you, if that's the way they react to criticism, I would think twice before speaking out against them. They are bullies, plain and simple.

Ah, no, I agree with feminism because it's much more beneficial for both men and women. It has nothing to do with fear.

And please tell me what exactly you disagree with her regarding the list. Are you saying that traditional gender roles do not negatively affect men?

Regarding what I'm talking about regarding feminazi, refer to this post by Alice.

Feminism is beneficial for men and woman yes i agree but, the way she was using it in the video i would say that is more of a extremist view on feminism not only did she pretty much used anything she could do to stop their seminar and also pulled a fire alarm causing the fire department to show up and waist their time. All in all i am for equality but the way she used her own freedom of speech to supress another's freedom of speech isn't equality what so ever. And i doubt that MRA'S and Feminazi's (kinda don't like that term) would ever get along and work with one another.

I get it. The fire alarm was uncalled for, and she's no perfect being. But you do realize that her view is the typical feminist view, right? What is wrong with her view?
