So did Atheism + bite the dust?

I reccommend you have a look at their website for more information about them. Particularly their mandate. They are all for equality. There is nothing remotley sexist or mysogninistic on their site. So what possible reason could this particular group of feminists have for disrupting their meeting? Could it be that it highlights mens issues as well as womens?

...

Apparently, that group is not above fraud:

Evidently, the Canadian Association for Equality is a dishonest and corrupt organization.

Its not a typical feminist world view. Woman want equal pay, work in the military, want to be in combat roles (now they can), they want every right a man has and they do, and equal pay. The world view that extremists feminist ones want is a world where they get hand outs getting something from doing nothing. Ill even call out Anita Sarkeesian of all people she attacks video games started a series on youtube and its completely crowed funded. For a person to say they don't like video games on a old Ted Talk now attacking video games saying she loves them doesn't that seem strange. So she has her supporters money she even has gotten games and consoles and a spot in the gaming industry which i am kinda upset about but even still. In the end of the day all her "hard" work is all lies considering the clips from the tropes series is stolen clips from other youtuber videos and she blocked comments. That is not feminism not one bit that is just a excuse to be lazy and make money off of other peoples hard earned worked and time. And don't get me started on Depression quest.......

Exactly. Rhetorical bluster hampers communication, and generates more heat than light.

I don't care what she has to say, the way she went about it was all wrong. It doesn't speak much for the quality of your arguments if you have to pull a fire alarm and scream at the top of your lungs. If someone talked to me like that I wouldn't listen to a thing they said.

and why attack these people in the first place. They did their job they served over seas and the last thing they need to come back to is someone who is ready and willing to attack them back at home with words.

Firstly, I looked through your link -- nowhere in there does that lady disparage veterans.

Secondly, there were indeed rapists, and several high-profile incidents of rape, in Iraq, and I imagine elsewhere in the world, given that the Pentagon itself estimates that 26,000 rapes occurred in the ranks in 2013. You say they did their jobs -- I say that their job descriptions didn't include raping the servicewomen alongside whom they served. The fact that they rendered service to the country, even in combat, doesn't negate the fact that they're criminals.

From wiki:

Quote:There is an ongoing problem with sexual assault in the U.S. military which has received extensive media coverage in the past several years. A 2012 Pentagon survey found that approximately 26,000 women and men were sexually assaulted. Of those, only 3,374 cases were reported. In 2013, a new pentagon report found that 5,061 troops reported cases of assault. Many people are optimistic that this 50% increase in reports is indicative of victims "growing more comfortable in the system." Of these reported, however, only 484 cases went to trial, and only 376 resulted in convictions.[1] Ninety percent of the assault victims were eventually involuntarily discharged.[2] Another investigation found that only one in five females and one in 15 males in the United States Air Force would report having been sexually assaulted by service members.[3]

Think about that: only 9.5% of the cases ever went to trial, and even worse, 90% of the victims were given involuntary discharges.

Let me repeat that: 90% of the victims were given involuntary discharges.

Such numbers indicate that in the military at least, there is a blatant disregard of the problem, and what appears to be an attempt to minimize -- or bury -- the issue.

Now, I don't think the wider society is an example of rape culture, but this is pretty damning for the military; it's evidence that there is a rape culture of sorts in the services.

It necessarily follows that one cannot trust what they say, about themselves or anything else. They are an untrustworthy source.

And naturally the group of feminists that pulled the fire alarm knew this and so were justified in doing it?

No they weren't and also doing that they wasted emergency service time and well you can get in trouble for that.
