They're good for a laugh, until he starts fulminating in a Tertullianesque flourish about how we atheists will suffer in hell. Then he just turns into a a creepy guy online who clearly takes pleasure in the thought of eternally torturing someone else.

The thought occurs to me that GC is really a troll for Satan. I mean, he represents Christianity in such a repulsive manner, in the worst possible light -- surely a perfect god would send a better ambassador than this vainglorious, sadistic fool who cannot even construct a kind thought for people he is supposed to be "saving".

I feel sorry for that poison dwarf.

Pretty much the mind set for most christian theists they are an apathetic bunch.

What we are really talking about is Occam's razor. Everybody agrees that methodological naturalism works most of the time. Occam's razor says lets see if we can make methodological naturalism work before we turn to supernatural explanations. There is no conspiracy.
