Ew! Is that actually a thing?
Friend of mine claimed to have seen it on the menu somewhere in Boston, MA.
I figure it is some local abomination of some kind. Around here it is the 72 ounce steak, Boston, toxic pizza ?

I've seen maraschinos as a topping. Sounds like it could be OK with, maybe, beef.

I'm thinking the farts later on would be lethal for almost all lifeforms.

Depends on my mood and where I am getting it. I like a thin crust wood fire artisan Margherita. As for others, I do love pineapple, but with a mute flavorful meat, like pepperoni or salami.
But, pizza has become about the crust for me in recent years. Not the toppings.

As many different kinds as there are people making them.

I'll make mine Wednesday. It'll have feta, fresh basil, fresh spinach, sliced grape tomatoes, and cubed soppressata. Maybe all on a bed of mozzarella.

I like pizzas with everything on them. Especially jalapenos.
The last few pizzas that I've had have been double beef, double green olives, and extra cheese. Yum.
Domino's pizza has improved, but it's still not as good as Papa John's.

But neither is as good as what you can get from local mom 'n' pop pizza joints.
