Why are all atheists liberals?

Sometimes also I don't readily express my more conservative beliefs on here because I know this forum is full of you liberals and I don't want to miss out on the kudos.

Definitions are slippery things when it comes to politics.
On gay rights and many other family value issues I'm left or more rightly (pun intended) libertarian. On the capitalist versus socialism scale I'm pretty conservative or more rightly libertarian. But there are atheists who are so conservative they leave shaking my head. Every so often I voice my opinions about economics, but it takes energy to respond to what sometimes feels like the whole forum.

See, again I had no idea, I assumed you and Dystopia were liberals, just like most of the people on here. It's funny because even though our only medium is type and I'm not the most participatory forum member, there are some people on here whom I almost intuitively like. I think it might help just being out of the closet as having conservative (or however you want to label them) beliefs on these forums. I agree with you though that a lot of the time I don't bother because it is too exhausting to argue with the whole forum. I think that experience sometimes makes me feel like all Atheists are liberals.

I'm pro-gun for those that can safely operate them. I'm also squeamish on affirmative action. As well, I prefer a balanced budget, and that's something Republicans used to be really into. I'm an independent who votes reliably Democrat, but that's mostly because of gay marriage. If that were not an issue, I'd probably have a much easier time voting Republican.

That's called the peer effect, no one actually says they are not so liberal because of fear of repercussions.

Except I've been saying that I'm a conservative on here for years! I don't even use a fancy term like classical liberal. I think that's part of the reason I like the term conservative, even though you are right, classical liberal is more accurate than either that or libertarian. Conservative is just so much more in your face. It's the same reason I tell people I know in real life that I'm an Atheist, even though Agnostic is probably more accurate. Atheist is just so much more fun and in your face.

Also from a political standpoint - do you guys want a totalitiarian Orwellian Socialist Government year after year after year? If so, how do you plan on getting rid of the 'unwanted' citizens that don't contribute to our GDP and the faith of Atheism?

Definitely anti hetero. Those bastards make me puke!
