What the hell is going on in the NFL?

They just signed Ryan Mathews. I guess you do that because you don't know if you're going to get a chance at DeMarco Murray. But you have to convince DeMarco that Mathews isn't going to steal touches.

I think this visit is just a ploy to drive up his asking price. I think he'll end up in Oakland.

Update: Ryan Mathews never signed his contract. Didn't know that. DeMarco is expected to sign with the Iggles today. Is Chip Kelly a mad scientist or someone who got a little stung at his presser yesterday? Who knows, but if he lands Murray, he's trading the 2013 rushing title holder for the 2014 rushing title holder.

Still needs a receiver. Riley Cooper is not the man.

Well, according to Stephen A Smith Kelly is doing this because he's a racist. But then again, it's according to Stephen A Smith...

Everything that man says is to be taken with a large grain of salt. But still a slightly smaller grain of salt than Skip Bayless.

Skip Bayless and Stephen A arguing over journalistic ethics is like the Pope recommending a good gay sex position.

Without DaMarco, the Cowboys are 6-10. Wouldn't be surprised to see Tony retire in a year or two -- without a good back as a foil, Romo will take a beating.

I don't wish for anyone to get hurt, but I do wish for the Cowboys to go first to worst. And lose their best offensive weapon to their arch rival.

I understand your hatred. I let my hatred for the Steelers go, oh, about 1996. [Image: 2mdfamh_th.jpg]

Larry Brown and Neil O'Donnell had some kind of deal. There was nobody within 10 yards of that throw. I was 10 years old for that. I got in trouble for throwing my shoe at the TV. Dad looked on with a mixture of pride and fear.

The Birds still have $12 million in cap space, I see Chip making another deal to bring in a WR. Although, being the football genius that I am (Huge heaping of sarcasm here) I would rather see him send the money on the secondary. Even though all the top dogs have been signed, there are a couple of durable CB's and Safeties available. The top of the receiving class is said to be on par with last years class. I have to take this on faith because I don't watch college ball.
“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?”
