Take it from a dead man - that makes zero sense.
Oxymoron or what.

Well there are many religious forums using MyBB, so this one isn't that different from that perspective I guess....

And not collecting stamps is just another hobby?
And not being f***ed in the head is just another mental illness?
Yeah, you keep telling yourself that...

@The question in the OP, not so different, imo, no. Why would anyone expect them be, we're talking about two groups of human beings who have a difference of opinion on a single line item...after all, aren't we?

I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

While I agree we're not that different, I wouldn't exactly say there's only a single point of disagreement. Belief in an interventionist god almost always has other beliefs attached.

It's those other beliefs - like the one that churches deserve tax-exempt status, that children need to be taught this nonsense in class, or that we don't need to worry about future too much, because Jeebus is gonna save us any minute now - that are the most annoying/frightening to a rational atheist like myself.
