The funny thing is, you're right about the OP. This place isn't a lot different than a religious forum. It's on the internet and people of at least similar opinions on the one topic meet here together to discuss it. Some are nice and some are mean. Many tend to react negatively or even overreact to people with an unpopular opinion especially if that person is new and not part of the pack. Of course we are not that different. We are people. We are all people regardless of our views, beliefs, and opinions.

I have never known anyone as confusing as you. You can be kind and considerate when you want to, you are smart about certain topics, and you are similar to me in disliking the person who thinks they're better or inherently right just because they're an atheist or a Christian or <insert religion here>. You are also very stupid. I don't mean it as an insult really, but just an observation. It's so strange to see a grown man who claims to be an atheist (and I don't know if anyone else remembers this, but one who writes and produces Christian music videos which happen to be pretty awful artistically but that's just my personal preference in music) and a critical thinker be presented with facts and evidence and refuse to accept or believe them. So, yes, you remain intentionally stupid.

I do get what you're saying about feeling bad for psyco (I will miss his psycodellic cat eyes avatar the most) He was forced to play the role of me for a day/thread (where everyone takes a dump on you for saying something 'unpopular.') and lost his nut by the end of the first page.

I feel bad for him because if you're not use to playing the antagonist role, that much opposition can strip one down to a primal knee jerk (face) response. Not making excuses for the guy, because what he said to ca-rox was over the line. but at the same time I don't think the d-bag needs to be permanent bann because he lost his 'happy face' when the wolf pack turned on him..

I'm just saying to have 15 or 20 core members of this website all weigh in and personally go after you or what you believe can be a little over whelming if one comes here looking to be with like minded people. Well I have been here on this forum for quite awhile now, and I have to say that its really no different than most religious forums I have been on. I know I am not liked much here, but that doesn't bother me at all, I came here because I don't believe in a god, but I can see that many here have projected their same energy that they would have projected on to their religion if they were religious. There is not much difference at all, many here have their own dogma, science being one of them. There is nothing wrong in science but to hide behind it and believing you know it all be cause of it, to me is no difference than the religious mind.

Ok, there is no god, but there is a cosmos that is beyond our minds, there are mysteries that we will never know, after all we are just a speck of dust floating with little creatures called human beings believing they know it all, how arrogant is that, be that religious or none religious.

So I have learnt what I needed to learn here, and I am now leaving here, so thanks for the lesson I have learnt here, it was very interesting.
