It's like a Monty Python moment. You're all like, ok and then we chop off this bit there, and stick that dagger here, and have some blood gushing out up there, and.... oh sod it! I didn't want to do this! I don't want to be a mass murderer! I wanted to be... a Lumberjack!

I guess it's just down to the propaganda. If people are told enough times what they would do if they lost their faith, they start believing it.

I put on women's clothing and hang around in bars. So I've been told many times anyway.

With some leaping from tree to tree? Meh, could be worse.

Have you considered the proposition that we aren't true atheists?
So how, exactly, does God know that She's NOT a brain in a vat? Huh

I'll bet good money that this nut's favorite Bible book is Revelation.

I think this guy may be losing it. He said some pretty incoherent things at the recent value voters event that make me wonder if he's suffering from some kind of dementia.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

You know, the last time this guy said something gnarly about gay people, A&E pulled his show off the air(only to bring it back, of course).

Will we see the same outrage with his comments about atheists?
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Truth be told, I'm not so fond of that guy Robertson either. Luckily for him I'm not prone to the same sick fantasies of what I might do to those I'm not fond of.

He is high on the fame drug. Same with his wife. This is her before fame:

And this is her now:

Now, I'm not saying she's done anything wrong, but in the beginning of this series Phil used to talk about "city girls" like they were an abomination, and how his simple home and his simple wife were all he needed. I hope Kay has told him to fuck off and she wants to look beautiful.

He loves how the vilest of the religiotards eat his shit up like dung beetles. So he keeps at it. I hope he latches on to whoever captures the Republican nom. Keep saying that evil shit and mobilize the base whilst alienating the majority.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
