RE: Greetings from a lifelong atheist!
Daniel Craig is the best, most accurate, most appealing Bond ever.

Now, if they could just get him a script that doesn't read as if it's been shat out by a syphilitic llama....

They should have titled it "Long winded boring crap with explosions thrown in". I am just being silly. I just cant get into this new guy. Same reason some like the New Star Wars movies but I never liked them. I am still stuck on the original 3.

I don't mind the new Star Wars movies and I love the Transformers movies but the new Bond and the new Star Trek movies make me want to vomit.

May I ask what about the prequels and the Bayformers you find appealing? :|

Welcome Iro

With all that atheist practice, you must be pretty good at it by now.
Has the quality of  your not believing in any god or gods today improved
over your not believing in any god or gods 20 years ago?
Has your God shaped hole gotten any bigger?  I think mine is a little more orange.
So how, exactly, does God know that She's NOT a brain in a vat? Huh

Perhaps I misspoke when I said 'lifelong' a bit.
Basically since I was about...4, I was always in the 'reindeers can't fly' camp when it came to Santa Claus, for example. My primary school was still fairly religious, we would sing hymns and christian songs daily in assembly. My religious views were more or less an extremely thin intellectual film that I finally broke through before I reached double figures. I remember flipping through a children's illustrated bible and thinking "this is BS" (or whatever equivalent phrase I used back then before I leant swears).
I wouldn't say I have a 'God-shaped hole', any more than I have a 'Vishnu-shaped hole' or a 'Ba'al-shaped hole'. If I did, I would feel concerned and consult with my doctor to see if it was susceptible to infection Tongue

Welcome
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
