Maryland drivers are far worse than New York drivers. Get yourself on 695 and it instantly becomes a competition for who can be the biggest asshole. When I moved up to PA from MD I used to see a huge difference in the driving patterns of people. Now, with so many leaving MD for PA, all those idiots have brought their shitty driving habits up here with them. Total rudeness on the roads in south central PA now. Really, I just need my own island so I don't have to put up with other people

New Smyrna Beach is where it's at to escape all the tourists. Just south of Ponce Inlet. Same beach, less people.
Also, try Dolphin View restaurant for literally the best Mahi Mahi sammich on the planet. And Breakers on Flagler Ave for an awesome burger and beer.

I'll be with friends in Daytona. I probably won't have access to their car unless they are driving. But their condo sits right on the beach so I'll be sitting in the sun every day. I just checked in for my flight and I have just about all my stuff packed except for my last minute things. I will be sure to post pics in this thread for any one that's interested.

You gotta try Dolphin View. It's less than 15 mins from Daytona just off the north causeway in NSB. Get them to go for dinner one night. Your life will change due to that Mahi Mahi sammich, or even the blackened Grouper sammich. Their fresh tartar sauce is the stuff of legend.
