Welcome. The topography on Arizona is beautiful in it's barren way, just like New Mexico and parts of Utah, Colorado, and Idaho. But I must admit they're all crappy places to be atheist. The only comfort I can offer is that they're better places to be atheist than the deep south.

Hahaha, yup, it's beautiful here, I try to not let the shitty political environment spoil that for me.
I have to say though, I haven't had too hard of a time finding like mined people here. Even my religious friends tend to be more progressive and liberal. I grew up in Southern California and conservative evangelicals seemed to be much more fervent and more actively trying to convert people there. Maybe it's because churches make more money over there, I'm not sure though.
