Well that sucks. Obviously, some people can't handle being proven wrong. If it's any consolation, Bangladesh is nowhere near as bad as Pakistan. I often think Prof. Pervez Hoodbhoy is the only sane person left in Pakistan.
Neither is Merka. Doesn't matter where theism lives, religion must be challenged everywhere.
I'm glad it's not me doing it in 3rd-world shitholes.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

No you cant force it out of existence, but I am tired of ANY religion worldwide thinking it deserves to be blasphemy free. This again is why I don't like liberals good intent wanting to protect pluralism. Human rights are a given, but claims as ideas by themselves should never get a pedestal. You want to know where protecting religion through censorship gets you? Take a good look at what our right wing is attempting to do in America. That is even with our Constitution, remove that, it would not take Christianity long to backslide into it's prior barbarity we called the Dark Ages. The Middle East is what our right wing pines for.
This is terrible. I do not have a problem with someone being religious, but I despise anyone who uses that belief as justification to harm another. This kind of reaction just speaks to how fragile their belief is. If they truly believe as devoutly as they claim it wouldn't matter what anyone else says.
Even in the relatively "sane" majority Muslim countries, you have to watch what you say in public. I've posted before about how Hillary Clinton once praised Indonesia as being a shining example for the world how liberty and Islam can co-exist. I've been to this country on many occasions. You have to be careful anytime Islam is brought up in conversation and religious minorities are treated as second class citizens. Radical Islam is a problem there, as well.
Atheist Forums Hall of Shame:
"The trinity can be equated to having your cake and eating it too." ... -Lucent, trying to defend the Trinity concept "(Yahweh's) actions are good because (Yahweh) is the ultimate standard of goodness. That’s not begging the question" ... -Statler Waldorf, Christian apologist (May 13, 2015 at 11:14 am)cocunningham Wrote: This is terrible. If they truly believe as devoutly as they claim it wouldn't matter what anyone else says. I will always have a problem with the idea of religion itself. The idea that old books and old claims are worth more than fact finding. I cannot hate my fellow species, I do hate however bad logic and what it can lead too. Penn said it best "Don't hate the faithful, hate faith itself, FUCK FAITH". If your belief cannot withstand scrutiny or being picked on, then maybe you should consider you got it wrong instead of demanding the silence of those who criticize it.
This just makes me appreciate more that I only have to deal with jokes about being an empty soul and whatnot.
Fucking Islam...
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell
