The TThat all depends on whose idea of "center" it is to the left of.
Speaking to any center which secular voter and religious voter tends to be on opposite sides of, secularists always tends to be on the left of such a center, and I can think of absolutely no issue whatsoever on which I would not have preferred the side of the secularists.
