Of course, Brezn & Obazda!

Do you eat them for breakfast though?

Do you drink beer for breakfast? And if not, why not?

Noy usually, but on special occasions when I'm in the region, there is the traditional bavarian Weisswurstfrühstück which traditionally involves wheat beer, honey mustard, brezn and white sausage.  My bavarian alma mater served it in the uni cafeteria.

I personally am from a wine region (with barely any beer made), and we've been known to have events that involve live music (usually) and drinking wine before noon called "Frühschoppen". A subtle subversion of the trope "Germany is Bavaria"

RE: Ask ze German
I don't know exactly, it is visceral. I hate everything she stands for, schmaltzy annoying music + general outlook on life. The way she smiles or doesn't. Artless and stupid. I can't explain it, but I feel that she is stupid (never having met her) and gives me ulcers.

I don't have the same reaction to most anyone else. Not Whitney Houston or M Carey, or anyone in the business really. The low point was when she collaborated with garbage shlock "artist" anne geddes.
