Many childhood field trips to the Air Force Museum. Hmmm....I should take a trip there. It's been a while.

Does one ever fully get used to the smell of a pig farm?
I'm pretty used to it. Cow shit is the worst. Horse shit is home.

Quote:Do you ever get tired of seeing nothing but cows and cornfields?
I kind of do, but I try to put myself in the shoes of an outsider, because it realy is a sight to see. Especially seeing the machinery.

Quote:Are all Ohioans as Canadianish as I am, or is it my own person quirk? (Example: do you apologize to the person who bumped into you at the grocery store?)
^^^this^^^^ so hard. This is almost exactly why I thought this would be a good idea as a thread. When I watch all those {insert country} vs US videos, I always relate to the other country's representative than I do with the US's. Ohio is an odd bird. Also, Ohioans dress similar to Canadians- cold weather and whatnot.

Quote:Do you end your sentences with prepositions often?
It's always a chore restructuring my sentences to be different than the way I talk, and I hate it. I hate that I'm unaware of how wrong I am compared to what feels right when I talk.

ETA: There's a state just southeast of you with a beautiful city of steel that you could go to to rid you of all these ails.

Man, you really have to visit Cleveland. It's come a long way. I love it. I've been to Pittsburgh......it has a good football team.

Also, lots of old RC cola signs in the surrounding hoods, that I want to steal.

The last question I asked because someone once pointed out to me that I say things like "where did you get that from?" or "where are my shoes at". And I guess the last word isn't necessary, but it feels wrong not to say it.

I needed help with this. I asked my mom to tell me what she thought; she said "Armpit", and I think that pretty much explains it. I usually drive through it only when I have to.

In college it was pointed out to me that in the expression "try and ...", as in "I'll try and see what I can do", "and" didn't have any job to do.

As for the expert of this thread ..

.. why do people live in Ohio? Aren't buckeyes poisonous, rendering the entire state's water supply suspect?

People do live there for some reason. I guess it has potential.

ETA: Youngstown. Got ninjaed.

No. Haha Ohio has a lot of kick ass museums and hall-of-fames that I haven't visited since, like, middle school. I need to get on that.

But I think that's representative of a majority of Ohioans. We're more concerned with work than trips.

Hell no! Represent! I'm actually really interested in how general my Ohio experience has been compared to yours.

Holy shit! I never even thought of cutting of the last word. I'll restructor it to be "From where..." and that just feels really fake.

I hear this a lot( and probably say it, I don't know), but what really gets my goat is "take and get". "When this happens, you take and get this".

Yeah, they are. The candy version is good though, and the football team version is the absolute shit! I think the weather should be more in question. I fucking hate how long our winter is. As a kid, the summers seemed endless, as an adult... it seems endful. ( I'm good and buzzed as promised, so I'll make up words).
