OK, so I'm adding entries to the Index of Curious Quran Verses I'm making and I can't seem to decide how damaging/significant this verse is. But maybe I'm misconstruing.
I've said that this is an example of Allah having human attributes, because we all know how deities share emotions, such as anger and disgust (even though they know supposedly everything) with humans. Could also be an example of Allah intervening in the affairs of humanity (i.e. Taking away free will).
Quran 2:15 "Allah will throw back their mockery on them, and give them rope in their trespasses; so they will wander like blind ones (To and fro)"

Quran 9:79 is similar: "Those who slander such of the believers as give themselves freely to (deeds of) charity, as well as such as can find nothing to give except the fruits of their labour,- and throw ridicule on them,- Allah will throw back their ridicule on them: and they shall have a grievous penalty."

So Allah likes to mock people? I'm thinking Allah derives enjoyment from doing so. Why else would you mock a person? 0oh and, by the way, if you want to look an my Quran Verses database, I'm looking for people to test it.
