Indeed it is. The very idea makes my skin crawl. Even the idea of fucking a cousin, and I've got some hawt cousins, just... ewwww, NO!

A majority of the main characters in the Bible were in incestuous relationships.  The ones who weren't screwed anything that moved.

Hell, the only ones who weren't were Adam and Eve, and even that's debatable, since Eve is technically derived from Adam's genetic material.

There's nothing wrong with any of those if it's done between two consenting adults. Who said incestuous couples must have children? If they want to do so, they could adopt a kid and have sex that won't give them kids. Simple as that.

Per the Bible sexual relations between uncles and nieces and aunts and nephews is acceptable.  Even banging one's half sister is OK.  Abraham did it for decades and God loved him.  The preferred spouse is a first cousin.

I think you have to be incredibly stupid and ignorant to think of homosexuality as a choice.

All the gay people historically who have been demonised by religion, harassed, burned at the stake, had acid thrown in their faces, been experimented on by the Nazis, disowned by their families, committed suicide, the list goes on. Yeah they all "chose" that life. Please. If homosexuality was a choice, who'd choose it?

No one could've said it better. I'm not homosexual nor bisexual, and even though people would consider me pansexual, which I think is the same as straight - since transgenders are just becoming themselves - I consider most labels are useless, since for me, love is love. I'm all for LGBTQ rights and what you are saying is so true, because if it were a choice, I'm pretty sure no one would've chosen to be homosexual, since social rejection comes along with it. I think Alan Turing's story is the best example why one wouldn't choose to be homosexual and it's awful to be part of this society that thinks of us as outcasts. Just hoping one day we will all be and feel accepted, just like we deserve.

What bothers me is that when a straight person doesn't agree with the personal views  of a homosexual man,the straight person is called a "homophobic" or a "homosexual hater".

What really happens here is that a group of people are pressuring a person to agree with their personal views by trying to alienate this person from his social group all because their personal views contradict with one another.


Picture this: You go to bar,a fat chick approaches you,you turn her down,she gets all sentimental,she tells everyone that you are a "women hater".Now you are pressured to prove that this is not right so you act all chill about having to nail a fat chick all because you don't want to be alienated from your social group because of being accussed of a "women hater".

See,that's just wrong.
Personally,i wouldn't give two shits if someone bone their sister.But if my father does that,i will surely be embarrassed and i'd definitely be grossed out.I'd probably cut my connections with him too.

But i wouldn't do the same if he came out and said that he was homosexual.Why? Because homosexuality is considered "normal" by the present society,so if i disagreed with him i'd be alienated from my social group because of my personal beliefs.

To conclude,
There is no right or wrong.
Society decides what is right or wrong.
If a single person was the only homosexual,it would never would've been considered normal.
But when a significant number of the members of society fell into this category,they(society) decides that it is normal.

Yes,incest is considered "wrong" by our current society because incest is not really mainstream as of now,but in the future if a significant number of people do this,then it will be normal and then it will be "right".

Society decided that murder is not "right".So we agree with it,we don't really form our own opinion but we form our opinions that are tangent to the generally accepted view of the society.
So no,homosexuality is not "wrong" because our current society considers it as not.
But incest is "wrong" because our current society consideres it as that.

That's just it,there really isn't any need for any lengthy discussions.
