There was a radio program in Los Angeles in the 70s and beyond that played unusual material on Sunday evening. A lot of old-timey radio show stuff and other more offensive material.

I'd only heard that song referenced by Alan Alda in an episode of M*A*S*H. Not a bad singer.

I was pretty weirded out actually haha I was trying to make connections like "well, my email is on AF, and my company publicly lists my email..." but I don't think my email is public here (maybe?) and even if it was, I don't think that would matter. Just an odd occurrence.
A radio show I listen to every now and then, The Allen Cox Show, ends ever show with this song, and I always have it stuck in my head.
