Oh my gawd!  This article is disturbing on so many different levels.

Even in my "christian days" I would never have blamed the abused person for being abused.  Worse yet telling them that they can learn from their abuse and that it only hurts the body not the spirit or relationship with gawd.

I would put the training guide on this post so you can read it without opening the link, but Huff post has it set up different so I can't copy it.  I encourage you to open the link and scroll down to the " Counseling Sexual Abuse" part.  It isn't to far down.

If you have the stomach for it, read further to find out how a boy blames changing a sisters diaper as a reason why he became an abuser.  You can't make this shit up.  It is disgusting.

I really wish this were top 5 worst things I've ever read. But 2 years as a staff at a facility for Adolescent Sex Offenders has this beat. What the boy is doing is called "Victim Stancing", it's a type of criminal thinking.

Terrible, absolutely terrible. Unfortunately I'm not surprised in the least. Both the victim and the offender should receive intensive counseling, without 'god' being involved.
