Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Honestly I think the second will be worse. My son had a minor case of thrush but that has been the only time he was sick. He was sleeping through the night at 4 months. Has had no bad reactions to immunizations nor any food allergies that we have discovered. He also has a wonderful disposition. There is no way we can get that lucky again. I suspect the next will not eat, not sleep when they are supposed to, be allergic to all the food we enjoy, etc
Thing real thing is, however, having to handle a newborn but still having to take care of a two or three year old at the same time.
But you got way luckier than my wife and I did. The first one didn't sleep through the night until he was 1 1/2. The second one is now 11/2, and he's only slept through the night once, which was six months ago. He still gets up 4 to 5 times a night regularly, and sometimes he just wakes up at 3:30 and won't go back to sleep. So far we've had a total of thirty-six months(non-consecutively) of a baby not sleeping through the night.
