Supreme Court Same Sex Marriage Argumet
RE: Supreme Court Same Sex Marriage Argumet
Serial polygamy remains legal. Just ask Trump, Rushie, Newt, etc. Their adulteries have not been infringed upon.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Actual there is legal precedent of  young ages and arranged marriages in this country.
Example Edgar Allan Poe wife was 13 when they marred. In fact it was very common for girls to get married at the age of 12 or 13.  In arranged marriages it is very common to have kids as you as 7 or 4  set to marry.

It will be amazingly simple to legalize it, all that needs to be done is the removal of the age restriction.
Since age restriction is decided by the states, not federal, as to when someone can enter into contracts/agreements it will be easy.
Right new Texas allow kids to marry at 14 (with parents connect)

Now we can argue "will it is teen ages so that is OK". NO, there are many studied and scientific evident that these teens are still very young with a child like mentality. For example the completion of a persons brain development is estimated at around age 25.
Also, there will always be someone who will push for the number's to go just little more lower. "whats the difference between 13 to 12? Whats the difference between 12 and 11? Whats the difference between 11 and 10? And so on.

Yeah...and why do you think that isn't the case any more? Hmmm?

It's because we set the age of marital/sexual consent as being older than that once science could objectively show that people below a certain age are usually harmed by those kinds of relationships. That shit used to be legal, and now there are laws against it. That means that "legal precedence" could never be responsible for the re-legalization of child marriage. Legislation of some kind would be required.

Furthermore, virtually every society that condones/has condoned child marriage has been religious. Why are homosexuals and atheists being accused of sliding us down a slope toward child marriage when religious people have always been more prone toward that kind of exploitation? That's sort of like the kettle calling the bathtub "black."
Verbatim from the mouth of Jesus (retranslated from a retranslation of a copy of a copy):

"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you too will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. How can you see your brother's head up his ass when your own vision is darkened by your head being even further up your ass? How can you say to your brother, 'Get your head out of your ass,' when all the time your head is up your own ass? You hypocrite! First take your head out of your own ass, and then you will see clearly who has his head up his ass and who doesn't." Matthew 7:1-5 (also Luke 6: 41-42)

It actual is already legal in Alabama; Arkansas; Washington, D.C.; Guam; Hawaii; Kentucky; Montana; Nevada; New Hampshire; New Jersey; New Mexico; Ohio; Texas; Vermont; Virginia; West Virginia; and Wyoming.

So once Peta and other animal groups win the fight to consider animals people, . . . then it is a hop, skip, and a jump to the next thing.
It may sound funny but there are many cases were people have left all of their assets to their animals in wills, It is averaged that people spend twice as much the average cost to raise a child, ($245,340-$304,480, not counting collage) on their pets. So yea I can see some one asking for that "right."

True, and lets hope it stays that way, but their is a large group of people, (many have even advocated on this board) to end the statutory laws which are in place for teens around the ages 12 to 18.

Hahahah funny because homosexuals had used that very same argument: its was legal, semi legal in Greece or Rome; homosexuality has always been.
Also homosexuality was illegal once also, . . .and now . . .

hey, I was just responding to what was posted. Nothing more. . . .

But you do know that atheism is a very know concept and has not even has time to develop a history anywhere close to that of religious. So to say that atheists have never done anything bad to society, (which can be argued in regards to atheist proclaimed communist states) it not so correct knowing you have not have such a long time on the stage of humanity. Give it time, its human nature to fuck up Wink

Hahaha, Clap Not any more. Adultery was illegal at a time.

However I wonder if it is technically illegal again since the Supreme Courts ruling.? Remember a fundamental right can not be taken away or infringed upon, so Marriage being a fundamental right, anything that denies or infringes upon that right is considered illegal and in violation of that right. Hmm? Thinking Thinking

Which part do you wish for citation.

Also why does if feel like I have to cite everything and majority do not cite anything. For example:

" Ok were is your citation

"Why are homosexuals and atheists being accused of sliding us down a slope toward child marriage when religious people have always been more prone toward that kind of exploitation? "- - - again were is your citation for making such the statement

It seems that everyone can make comments or side statements with no backing what so every. It would by nice if you (universal) were to show your citation also.

Back up this assertion about marriages with animals:

I'm not speaking for Redbeard. You ask him. If there is something I've stated you feel I should give a citation for, tell me. Otherwise, leave everyone else out of it, because we are not a hivemind.

It was clearly being implied that you can't legalize gay marriage without also legalizing child marriage. Of course "removing the age restriction" would legalize child marriage, by definition. That has nothing to do with gay marriage, as I've been saying from the start.

This whole thread has been nothing to do with gay marriage, it's Anima slowly building up to wanting to create his own version of an Aryan race. Stopping gays getting married was just a way to piss in their face because he can't round them all up; with lots of legal flapping to act as rationalizations that clearly came to nothing. Why you're supporting him, I have no idea. Do you want gays rounded up too?

The level of this discussion has become so absurd and desperate I'm not sure it's worth continuing. I really hope Anima is playing with us, I shudder to think what a real person holding these opinions would be like.
