I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay." For context, this is the previous verse: "Hi Jesus" -robvalue
What, that some people may experience regret after sex-change surgery? I think that's pretty well known, and can be applied to any life-changing voluntary surgery. Being transgender can be brutally psychologically taxing on its own, and I don't think there's anyone that believes having a sex-change is a magic perfect cure-all.

Yeah, I've never thought about it. It never occurred to me that there may be some regrets, or what the regret might say about the initial gender feelings that led to the transition (which is what's really interesting to me). I was always more concerned with rooting for these people to find happiness and acceptance in the community, and never considered how they felt after the dust settles.
