RE: Who do you like in the NBA finals this year? Lebron or Steph Curry & the Pick Setters

Yeah, maybe.
But those boys have played well without Kyrie. It's when they game plan for Kyrie when the bench doesn't get much exposure.

I mean... I've been telling people Warriors in 6, but that's really only because I can't quite decide if they can win in 5 or 6 and I'm rounding up.

Don't worry, my friend. If this be the end, then so shall it be.

I'm right there with you on the number(s), TRJF. I really think 5 but always say 6 because Lebron.

They just haven't been able to make game plan transitions smoothly. Every time LeBron was benched, they looked like they didn't know what the fuck to do. They just stand around waiting for Kyrie to do something. They need to get more active and open up some lanes, or draw some double coverage to open somebody up, which I know they can do, but the transitions trip them up.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."
For context, this is the previous verse:
"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

GS's bench is so much stronger than the Cav's. Plus if you want to see a foreshadowing of life with out Irving, look to overtime last night 10-2. Lebron scored 45 (I believe) with Irving in for most of the game. Realistically, only Irving can cause Curry to have a problem. King James is great, however, he can't be in two places at once.

Who do I "like" in the NBA finals? Definitely the Warriors. I love their balanced team structure and team mentality, even without a mega superstar. I also love Steve Kerr.

Poor Kyrie can't catch a break. Fractured kneecap. Surgery today, miss rest of Finals obviously.

San Diego has been a bad place for basketball to develop. The last team we had, IIRC, was the "Wildcards" (such a winning name!) . I've caught a few of those D-LEAGUE games on TV (I almost moved to Santa Cruz County instead of San Diego back in '09). That's fun to watch. I wish San Diego would get one of those teams.

Very unfortunate for Irving. He was doing so well before that happened.
It has been pointed out that every one of the playoff teams the Warriors have faced has had an issue with its star point guard. Definitely fortunate for them.
