This thread started off as someone dishonestly pretending to be someone dishonestly defending Christianity to make them look stupid; when that became clear, it's now been taken over by someone actually dishonestly defending Christianity, making himself look very stupid, and blissfully unaware of being the object of ridicule.

I've heard your story that many people in this forum have been hurt by other Christians, have had bad experiences, etc. I'm very sorry that happened. But what ALL of those folks need is not less God but less man and MORE GOD. God is love. Only God can heal these hurts.

Do you want to hear about god, Randy? Are you ready for what I have to say about god? Not the church, not the people, not the ones who threatened me and broke my brain. God. Do you really want to know what I've heard from him? Do you think you can take it?

I noticed that you put the hero, the sniper, in the place of those who burned heretics. The problem is that  sniper isn't shooting an innocent person but those who burned heretics were killing innocent people. A better analogy would be if the man with the AK-47 walked into a Catholic Church and started killing the congregation members because he thought that they were an alien army secretly plotting to take over the earth. From his point of view, the killings make sense, don't they?

The people who killed heretics were also wrong in their justification for killing innocent people. It is insane to kill innocent people because someone wrongly believes that they are aliens. It is equally insane to kill people because they worship the bible god in a way in which the Catholic Church doesn't approve.

The reason that I used a Catholic Church is not to offend you but to try to help you understand how your statement might sound to some people, me included.

Bad theology is just like bad fairy tales. There is no god just like there are no real fairy god mothers. So yes, killing the body is much worse than telling someone's religion

I can't be 100 percent certain a more advanced being doesn't exist but I am absolutely certain that the god of the bible doesn't exist. He has too many omni(insert traits) to be real.

A belief (not a claim of knowledge) that something does not exist is more than adequately backed up by the complete and total absence of evidence for both the thing itself, and the evidence it would logically leave everywhere if it did exist and acted as described.

If my friend tells me he has a wife but I'm never ever allowed to see the wife in their house, she never visits me, I don't see her in any of the shops I'm told she frequently goes into, no one else I talk to has seen her either and the scent of her favourite extremely potent unmistakable perfume has been present absolutely nowhere: I would believe such a person in fact does not exist. I don't need to claim it as a fact. Absolute certainty is a red herring. We each decide how much to investigate each claim before deciding it is of no importance to us anymore.
