See? Come on. It's obvious I'm not talking about subliminal messages. You know exactly what I mean, but act like you don't. I'm not overthinking it. The way you interact seems off to me.
Ok, well... not that it matter because you'll just think I'm lying but all I can say is I really don't.

I’d give you quotes, but we all know you wouldn’t read them, or actually question any of them. Hating gays, hating people outside their own denomination/religion, hating atheists (thinking they should burn in hell). Your thread, for instance, suggesting we need some type of redemption from an obvious man-made religion. We have people on here that think SLAVERY is ok, not only that, they think beating them is just fine. We have people on here that think everything god does in the bible is ok, because he is god! Have you ever heard a christian say another hateful thing about another denomination? I’m sure you’ll say, “No, not, I, Ms. Innocent Virgin Ears.” I have, and they use their book to justify their hatred and bigotry. And over and over again you act like this innocent Ms. Perfect, and remain completely clueless to everyone else’s words around you.
You are that person at a party, who says something nasty to someone in secret (not accusing you of saying something nasty, just using you in a metaphor), and when everyone else is around everyone else, that person snaps at you, because you made that person very pissed off. That person that snapped looks like the bad guy, which is us, and you sit there and act like Ms. Innocent/Victim, and want people to feel sorry for you. I’m glad Napoleon and Neimenovic called you out on things, but of course you act like that kind of hatred doesn’t exist in your perfect little world. I’m glad Stimbo just told you to stop playing Ms. Innocent as well. Over and over again, on this thread alone, people have given you reasons why christianity is harmful, and you act so surprised to see ‘god hates fags’ signs, like you’ve never heard of any one thinking homosexuality is vile before. Seriously, this act needs to go. And, I don’t care what people think about speaking politically correct on here, you need to hear some truth already. No one wants to talk to you like this, because you speak so kindly on here, and of course I’m going to look like the bad guy, but I don’t really care. I’m going to tell you like it is, because people are starting to see through your phony act. We know you're not as clueless as you want us to believe. Wake up already, and realize that your religion promotes bigotry/hatred Period. Stop acting like it doesn’t.
I was asking Whateverist specifically what some people in his family do that is hateful.
Edit to add: btw, you couldn't be more wrong about me. I am not "that person" who tells nasty secrets and then pisses off everyone. That's not me at all.
More dishonesty. If you read what I said, I said that that was a metaphor for how you're acting on here. You talk kind and sort of clueless about christians in this world, so when someone calls you out on things you say, you can play the victim, and point at me, and say, "Look at that big meanie over there, talking wrongly to me." , when in fact you're playing this clueless, dishonest character, who acts like nothing is wrong within christianity and catholicism. Also, when confronted with any argument against your religion, it's as if we shouldn't have written anything. No thought whatsoever is put into your response to the criticisms made to religions of the world. You say things like, "Oh, never heard of any one doing that before.", when you damn well this type of hateful, judgmental garbage goes on everyday in millions of people's homes.
As for the whateverist comments.. I'm sure you can figure out what the judgmental, religious assholes were saying about the heathens.

Not if you could actually come up with a coherent argument for why. Truth is, you're just posting more fluff. Even now. Are we playing some grand mafia game I'm not aware of?
How many "I respect your opinion" and "could you clarify" and "are you saying <insert misrepresentation here>" posts can we cram into one thread?
Because I'm not so much here to argue as I am to have discussions with people who think differently, and hear about different opinions and different ways of thinking. So a lot of times when someone says something, instead of arguing, I just say that's fine and I respect your views. If you notice, the only times I ever really say much about my views are when I am asked directly or when someone makes an assertion that I feel the need to clarify.
"Could you clarify" and "are you saying ____ ?" is just me trying to further understand someone's position. The latter is not meant to be a misrepresentation, that's why it's a question. So the other person can either confirm or deny.

I honestly don't understand why everyone is hurling so much shit at C_L right now. I'm not surprised she doesn't know how prevalent hatred is in Christianity if she isn't surrounded by hateful people, and I appreciate that she asks for clarification if there's something she doesn't get. Since she got here, she's fought through people hurling straw at her, practically non-stop even though given the few times she's built strawmen, she's acknowledged her mistakes and changed her thinking because of it. She's also dealt with people being assholes to her only because she's Catholic. Would you rather she lie about her beliefs?
Also, I think she's a really nice person (who might not realize how awful Catholicism can be until she talks to people who show her that), sincerely. She says she respects opinions... would you rather her talk to you guys the way some of you talk to her? Really, Napo? The dick thing? There are members on this forum who are actually awful. Why don't you stick to targeting them with your awful comments?
After all that, I think she's showing some serious composure.

To clarify, and you don't have to ask whateverist, the most vocal christians are usual the most hateful or at least the most bigoted. But that's not a hallmark of christianity, it's the same with muslims and jews. You hear the ones that cry the loudest and in the case of religion, that's usually not a pretty sound.
It starts with condemning people just for who they are and ends with trying to sneak in religious prejudices into legislation. Sometimes it can even lead to violence. In short, religion taken literally is just like any other given ideology. It's out to hurt or even exterminate the ones not towing the line.
That's also your answer why we don't play nice nice here. If someone's riding their high horse in here, trying to spew their religious hatred and bigotry, they should expect some negative reaction. It starts with homophobes and ends with hell threats. The latter is a moot point anyway to us, but there have been certain instances where some christian member voiced the wish for us to get cancer or aids. Do you really expect a polite reaction to that?

Ok, well, if everyone here just thinks I'm being dishonest or being fake anyway, then I don't see the point in posting anything. I think I've answered Whateverist's question anyhow.
Thanks for the discussion, guys. Hope ya'll have a good night or good day depending on where you are in the world.

Oh give me a break Becca, I talk to everyone the same. I give people respect if they deserve it. I am fucking honest. That is more respect than what CL has given anyone here.
Looks like she's done a number on you too.

Wait... but what's the difference between C_L telling her opinion of how people should be acting if they want to be respectful and what you just told her?
