Children in restaurants

RE: Children in restaurants
Little kids scare me. Whenever I'm near one I freeze and just stare at it. I have no idea how to deal with them. I just play dead and hope it goes away ._.

RE: Children in restaurants
There was a time recently in a restaurant when a child of maybe 2 or 3 started banging loudly on a glass door, much to the disruption of everyone present. The parents didn't do anything to stop this and it went on for a solid 3 or 4 minutes until an older sibling for maybe 7 years old took the kid by the hand and led them back to the table. These are the same parents who would complain if a restaurant banned children. Some people think that being a parent gives them some sort of extra rights over other people. If we wouldn't accept that kind of behavior from adults than we shouldn't accept it from children.

I'm more in favor of banning teens. From everything.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

As I say to my sweet GF about our respective kids (teens and young adults the lot):

can't kill 'em, can't kill 'em.

or perhaps, can't kill 'em, but we could sell them to the Zetas drug cartel for "medical" experiments.

RE: Children in restaurants
I voted for 16 and up, but only because many parents nowadays don't seem to be able to teach 5 year olds how NOT to behave in public.

I realize I sound like an old fogey, here,
but seriously:

when I was 5 years old, if I was noisy or inconsiderate or annoying, or, heaven forbid, pitched a temper tantrum AT HOME, nevermind in PUBLIC,
my ass would have been in a sling.  My parents were hardcore Christians and believed in the whole "spare the rod" mentality.

It worked....I never set a toe out of line.

Although mind you I am now in my late 30s and have suffered with depression throughout my adult life,
and also it doesn't take much to make me flinch, either,
and assume that a complete stranger won't hesitate to hit me,
and also to at least initially make the default assumption that  if they do it is my own fault and I deserve it, for some reason...

....but at least I was a well-behaved kid.

Can't kill 'em, can't grill 'em :c

If you play dead, they will climb on you. You must tickle them, which is easy because children are often quite ticklish.
