Other than cat, king of the jungle, king symbol? Most of my associations with lion are through media, MGM Lion (Leo), Elsa, Lion King movie, Relion Group, Lions Clubs, Snoop Lion, ING.

Funny, Cecil sounds an awful lot like an animal psychic.

And you'd think there'd at least be one case where an animal voices his skepticism on psychics. "Wait, I'm getting something...Rover says 'Yeah, I'm not buying any of this bullshit.' Hmmph."
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:
