Well I realized it all doesn't matter anyways, in a infinite existence everything possibility is doomed to happen over and over again and we will all live an infinite amount of lives over and over again and what I thought of will eventually happen, but then something will go wrong and something else will happen and then it may happen again in a different way an infinite amount of times and the reality is nothing really matters! Infinity is a scary thing... RE: So here's my theory

And why do you believe existence to be infinite?

"Every luxury has a deep price. Every indulgence, a cosmic cost. Each fiber of pleasure you experience causes equivalent pain somewhere else. This is the first law of emodynamics [sic]. Joy can be neither created nor destroyed. The balance of happiness is constant.
Fact: Every time you eat a bite of cake, someone gets horsewhipped. Facter: Every time two people kiss, an orphanage collapses. Factest: Every time a baby is born, an innocent animal is severely mocked for its physical appearance. Don't be a pleasure hog. Your every smile is a dagger. Happiness is murder. Vote "yes" on Proposition 1321. Think of some kids. Some kids."
For all we know, we could be simply heading towards the heat death of the universe, a state of maximum entropy where everything is still for all eternity. Infinite time does not imply that everything is possible.

But even if the universe lasts forever without heat death unexpectedly, you're still going to die and decay, OP, and whatever becomes of the parts, or a boltzman brain or whatevwr can't in any sensible manner be called a continuation of your mind any more than any other person is identical with you

While it is true that matter (in whatever form) doesn't 'disappear from existence' the 'you' certainly can. Consciousness is one of the consequences of brain function. When a brain becomes non-functional, consciousness is no more. Someone (I disremember who) put it as 'Consciousness surviving the destruction of the brain is about as likely as 100 mph surviving the crash of the car.' Boru

Let's go Rob, galavanting about causing shenanigans for billions of years is just my cup of tea. :-)
I see we have a young Descartes on our hands here.
Consciousness is derived from complex intra-neural communication, thus, when we die, so do our neurons. This yields a body that is no longer conscious. It is simple. If the conscious soul resides separate from the body, and each person who exists contains this soul, then why are we not conscious before conception? Is it because you only become conscious at the moment thereafter? Well, of course! Because the formation and complete development of the human brain gives rise to this phenomena.
