I had Ray Comfort in my mind, but i just googled Amazing Atheist and banana. Didn't have to get past Images......it burns...

I'm really sick of apologists. They are ignorant and/or dishonest. Their arguments are always flawed. Sadly, the intended audience either can't or won't see the flaws. I made a thread challenging anyone to bring me any apologetics and I'll point out the flaws. I got only one challenger, I may have to dig the thread up again.

Their success is pretty much related to how well they hide these flaws under layers of clever sounding irrelevant bullshit. Actually, some of them don't even do that and are still doing well, I'm at a loss to explain why.

Many people have no proper conception of "validity" as it pertains to arguments.  To them, it is a good argument if they agree with the conclusion, and a bad one if they don't.

If you want a frightening and disturbing experience, go enroll in an introductory logic or critical thinking class at your local college, and pay close attention to how your classmates are doing.  The experience should be enough to make you want to drink heavily or partake of other mind-altering drugs.

Well I don't ONLY listen to apologists because I feel that's more like only listening to one side in a court case.  I read many views.  Some apologists I listen/read are C.S. Lewis, Os Guinness, Ravi Zacharias, Michael Ramsden and John Lennox.  On the other side I've read/listened to Hitchens, Dawkins, Dennett, Harris, and Nietzsche among writings of Hume/Kant.
We are not made happy by what we acquire but by what we appreciate.
