In our house it's dishes. There are 2 of us, we have over 40 plates. Didn't take the time to count the smaller ones.

Last time I was at my sisters house I counted over 60 bottles of shampoo in her bathroom.
I'm not confronting her about it, and I think that might be a lesson for others . . . . .

It's just me and I have (6) 16oz glasses, (6) 12oz glasses (4) mugs, (6) wine glasses, and (3) "novelty" coffee mugs, not including (2) 24oz water bottles and (1) palm-sized water bottle for when I run.
So... 28 drink containers.
For just me.
I regularly make it through the 16oz, and 12oz cups and the (4) mugs so the point where it's legitimate that I have that many, and my 24oz rotate between trips to work/gym. But I hardly ever use the wine glasses (I just drink straight outta the bottle
) nor the novelty mugs.

My dad and I have probably 15 cups between us, maybe 10 or so glasses. At least 6 plates. Roughly 8 bowls. And around 15 knives, spoons and forks.
Absurd.
