Howdy from Texas!

RE: Howdy from Texas!
I actually had a blast over there, save for a few bad moments. But I had a really fulfilling job. I taught the afghan army how to drive and vehicular tactics.

So why is it you're not a normal atheist? Smile

@CL,
Ah Del Rio! I spent my 19th birthday there, I don't remember much, but I do remember having a Mexcican b-day cake...

Haha! What in the name of all holiness were you doing in Del Rio for your bday???? Get me outta this town! Lol.

Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

But we're actually 3 hours west of that lol. We are at Laughlin in Del Rio Texas. My husband is an Air Force pilot, and I'm a bored stay at home wife looking for some good discussion  lol. Thank you for your service, sir!  Big Grin

Haha makes sense! Good thing you scored you a fly boy though. Pilots have it made! What does he fly if i may ask?

and to all those who would say tyfys, i respond with no thank you for paying your taxes! cuz i sure did have fun spending it!

Lol! Touche, brother!

Right now my husband is a pilot instructor during this tour. He teaches the brand new guys how to fly the T6, which is the first plane all air force pilots learn how to fly. But once he's done with this tour, he's hoping he'll be assigned the F15. He get's to make a dream sheet with his top choices of the plane he wants to fly, and they try to accommodate.

That's awesome! Instructing can be very rewarding. I've always wanted to learn to fly but never had the chance. F15's are the bees knees. Hope he gets his wish!

Did you teach them what the "Forward" gear was for or just "Reverse?"

I tell you what, teaching a donkey rider how to drive a standard up and down a mountain really will test your religious beliefs haha.
