With a bit of retrospect, I think Michelle was a more disappointing winner than Natalie from Samoa Undecided  At least in what viewers got to see of her game.  In the reunion and toward the end of the show people (and Michelle herself) said that she played a social game and that was a primary contributor to her win.  But Natalie White also played a very social game - but for some reason Natalie's social game was shown on the show while Michelle's didn't seem to be.

Likewise, the argument could be made that Michelle deserved the win because she was a challenge beast toward the end, and that that was enough to give her the win, but I disagree about that, too.  Michelle's challenge wins certainly turned the tide of the game in her favor (winning the last two important challenges) but she was only in danger of being sent home at the last challenge, it seemed.  In contrast, someone like Joey Amazing was a huge challenge threat and won tons and tons of challenges and I would say that would be enough to give him the win - not simply because he won them all though, but because his back was against the wall the whole time and if he didn't win he would be voted out immediately.  Winning was his only path to the end last season.

Also, no questions for Cydney at the reunion?  Sad

And WTF was going on with the chick with the hat?  That was super odd.

Clueless Morgan - the chick with the hat was Sia - she's a pop star from Australia ( Elastic Heart is one of my fave songs from the last few years). I've seen her make other appearances with her face hidden.

I was surprised that Michelle won this season and I'm not sure she deserved it. I though Aubrey or Tai should have won.

I like the premise of next season - Gen X vs. Millenials! I'll be rooting for the Gen X team.

I'm very intrigued by the premise as well, and I'm a Gen-x, but I'll root for whoever is intriguing to me. America seems more and more run by the young, and good on them.

Yeah, I used to dismiss all the talk about Millennials until I found out they are now the largest generation here in the US with about 75 million. There might be some good Millennial Survivor players next season, I guess we'll see.  Smile

Yeah, I'm sort of withdrawing. Even Big Brother is a whole month off.

I guess I'll check out the premier of So You Think You Can Dance on monday, but I hate kids, so....

As for tonight, no clue. Watched the USMNT earlier, but no MLS tonight. Guess I'll just keep Googlemapping Minnesota.

Oh, Googlemapping Minnesota? Is that just what it sounds like? I hope it's not as boring as it sounds Smile

America's Got Talent and American Ninja Warriors start next week.
I was never into those types of shows until I cut off my satellite dish service - too expensive but now I can't watch CNN all the time like I used to. Big Grin
Now I stream shows on a Roku 3 and watch local channels for free with an antenna.

I like that there are some decent shows on in the summers nowadays instead of just re-runs.

Well, I do like Google Maps when I have to use it. And I will be in Minnesota late next month, so...
