GC, I don't know what to say. The time I have spent trying to have discussions with you have been the most wasteful, unproductive times in my life. It is so sad to see a fellow human so deluded they can act the way you do. I don't want to continue any more discussions with you, therefore I ask you to never post on my threads again. You are either a poe, or the most deluded person I have ever had the disservice of talking to. If you do post, then I will not respond.

Best news I've heard in awhile, I look forward to the peace.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

I guess you are right... there is no evidence. There are no fossils. No genetic evidence. No germs evolving in labs. No differences in generations between any animals ever found. Nope... none.

There are no fossils point to evolution and you weren't there to see anything happening, there is no genetic evidence for evolution, germs evolving in labs, that's not natural, by the what did they turn into, snake, worm, deer, elephant, maybe a man. The small changes found were nothing more than an adaptation to the environment, they still remain the same animal that could breed with the ones who did not adapt nor needed to. By the way the unintelligent one is the one who can't spell.... well you know what I mean.

This question has probably been asked here before, but I couldn't find, so I decided to ask it now. I am NOT talking about natural disasters or accidents, I am just talking about organisms that kill millions of people daily.

Thanks!

He didn't as far as I know, when the fall occurred all life suffered the fall, including the micro organisms. Unfortunately for us they turned to the worse side.

God presumably knew the bacteria would turn evil though, and this would be as a direct consequence of fruit consumption.

Clearly, he wanted this to happen. Otherwise he would not be so stupid as to put this fruit exactly where he knew they would eat it.

What a ludicrous story. This is like a gunman claiming innocence, and blaming the gun for his murders.

Cosmology is not the same as biology, you idiot.

And yes, according to the Conservation of Mass and Energy, matter is eternal.

Okay. I'll insert "universe" for "cosmos". Thanks for answering my question as I wondered what you thought about that. It's tough for me to consider the material world as never having a beginning. It seems to me to be a supernatural quality. From your point of view, there is really no purpose to the existence of the universe. I can't get into that, but to each his own.

From what I understand of the atheistic views, either natural "stuff" (for lack of a better word) had to pop out of nothing or else it was never created and has always existed, in some manner, in infinity.  You don't know what the answer is, so how can you rule out a supernatural creator - especially since so many reputable and trusted people have testified to experiences with the supernatural?

It is perfectly possible that a cosmos existed eternally a sort of area where all this stuff takes place little bubble universes in an eternal multiverse..
This programme deals with it and indeed has some evidence for interactions with other universes.
The major quality of a "god" is some sort of thought, a sentient being, nothing that is suggested as eternally possible has those qualities, at least not in the past. Unless of course you are one of those that believe the universe was started by David Lister using the jump leads from starbug.

There is one in the series called "The origin of the Universe made easy", but it's not this one because you were stuck on the wrong idea of life popping out of nothing. Now you're leaping Dolphinetically into the Universe popping out of nothing. Please make up your mind what you want to discuss.

Sorry Stimbo, but threads evolve. Shuffle and I were discussing the existence of anything at all.

Do you have a basic understanding of how hydrogen atoms go nuclear in stars and cook up heavier elements?  So of course matter can be created.  You're supposed to be a modern educated person; not some ignorant goat herder from 4,000 years ago.  Use your brain sometime.

If you read my post that you replied to, you'll see that I was talking about anything that makes up the universe. No. I'm not a scientist. Educate me. Is matter made up of hydrogen atoms? I think it is. Shuffle says matter is infinite.

God didn't create those things specifically. They all evolved. I don't think god is omniscient or omnipotent or omnipresent for that matter. When god created the first single cell organism, she didn't know what would come out of it or if anything would come out of it at all. She wanted to see what would come out of it. I'm sure we weren't the only experiment. I'm sure many failed.

I know most Christians think that it's all a result of sin. But that's really only an assumption of a bunch of people from an age before they knew fucking anything about germs.
