Last time, I was torn between Lt. Ripley (Aliens) or Voodoo Queen. I went with Voodoo.
This year I'm thinking Roman soldier or William Wallace. I'm definitely leaning Braveheart.
(emphasis is mine)

I've always wanted to do the roman soldier thing, but with a whip and a stuffed cross bearing jeebus supported from a hook in front of me. Big Grin

That would be so awesome!

RE: Halloween
I LOVE Halloween. I always change costumes throughout the night. I've got a lot of costumes. I can NEVER pick just one to wear so I always have to change in the middle of the night just so I get to wear more than one costume.

My husband goes all out for decorating the house (Except the year his mom died). We have a ghost playing the piano, spooky music, all kinds of scares set up. We have a ghost train that we use making a projector. He'll probably start decorating about three weeks before Halloween.

To paraphrase Dr. Perry Cox, I plan to dress up in jeans, an All Blacks jersey, my best engineer boots and attend a Halloween party as the guy who DIDN'T make a jackass of himself.

How come (female adult) Halloween costumes are generally pretty sexy?

I'm not complaining! Just interested.

How come female video game characters are sexy?
How come in telenovelas the female help (nannies and maids and such) are so sexy?

I think if you can figure out the answer to one you can figure out the answer to all. Lol

I'm going to be trying my hand at special effects make-up. Latex based.

I'm going to go for a burned Horns look. If it works, I may post it. Or maybe not, depends on how hidden my face is. ^o^

This year I think I am going for Psychopath, probably one with a God complex to be specific.

Hey, the Bible is a Great Prop for Psychopath Costumes.

I took a theater makeup class in college that was hella fun - I was pretty good at the blood and guts stuff, but it's not hard to be good at it: Just add more blood!! Tongue
