It seems, Randy, that you think that the length of your posts should directly correlate to the amount of respect it gets. It's funny that you are literally the only theist in this thread that is experiencing dismissal, and you still won't own that maybe, just fucking maybe it's about you and not us.
Has it ever even crossed your mind that your condescending, robotic approach might be the reason you get no respect here? Can you appreciate that C_L, kingpin, DP, and other theists here are liked because they treat this place like the community it is and participate with us on a level that shows us that they at least are trying to fit in?
Probably not. It's just mean atheists that don't give you the respect you and your catechism deserve. Shame.
On a general level, Christians in general cannot imagine a world where their beliefs and dogma aren't automatically revered by fiat. In general, I don't see your stories as any different than the Iliad or the Poetic Edda. They are fantastical bullshit, and my opinion on the matter has the same weight as yours. Christians are a shrinking majority, and aren't being afforded the same societal privilege any longer, and they are kicking and screaming like petulant children not getting what they want as a result. Sorry 'bout your luck.

For those of you who have made the effort, I certainly appreciate it! It shows you're here to actually talk to us as people as well and not just bang on our heads and try to convert us. For those who never make this effort, it's really hard to develop any kind of relationship. I've noticed these tend to be the same people who rarely joke around and have fun on here. That also makes things really hard.

I like C_L and kingpin because they're people with quirks and senses of humor and varied interests. They're not apologist robots or shit and run artists or Huggy.
