It should be easy to read a god's mind, since it and the believer's is one and the same.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Inaccurate. STDs exist and they also affect men.

Touché. I wonder how you would feel if you got an std and half the country told you that you should have to keep it as a consequence of having sex.

Now there's an idea. Picket the STD clinics and harangue anyone trying to go in. Legislate to stop people using STD medication. Insist that people carry their infection to term, and that if they weren't prepared to do that they shouldn't have had sex in the first place.
Of course, I'm in the clear (in every applicable sense).

They wouldn't have to in alot of cases. I would be forced to keep it regardless due to there being no complete cure. I would also get next to no sympathy and actually suffer severe stigma.
Examples; aids, syphilis.

Because it is silly.

Syphilis is curable; it's a bacterium.
And HIV is permanent (so far) but totally treatable and suppressible with modern medications.
So, as we've said, it's like saying that because they had "consequences" of sex, the STD, they have to not have the medications to stop it from ruining their life because they "should have known better when they chose to have sex".
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost
I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

The real question is when is a person a person. When sperm penetrates egg is obviously silly. And it goes on being silly for a while. A thing that can't think is not a person. When does it become a person?
Hebrews thought is was first breath. Romans thought it was when Daddy said so. Supreme Court seems to think it's when it can live outside the uterus.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god. If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

Yes Jenny this is really the crux of it. I would argue life begins at conception because it is still human, just very early stage. This was the point I was trying to make when I posted this:
"I understand that no one is advocating 3rd trimester abortions. I'm not trying to appeal to emotion. Where I have difficulty in understanding is why a first trimester abortion is ok for any reason, but a third trimester abortion is not. Two weeks before a baby is born, is it ok to abort? We are still talking about bodily autonomy of the mother and the baby is solely dependent on that mother's resources (same as in first trimester). PT brought up brain waves and ability to think and reason. So is the point of life when there is brain activity?
My other point was that fetus/embryo/baby is also a part of someone else (aside from the mother). So is the man not a father (and thus having parental rights) until that child is born and cord is cut? Or is it when the baby has a reasonable viability outside of the womb?
Amillia Taylor is the world's youngest premature baby ever to survive, and was born at just 21 weeks and six days into her gestation, which was two weeks before the legal abortion cut off at the time in the US."
We are not made happy by what we acquire but by what we appreciate.
