I knew what mamacita meant... I just mis-read the word, and my brain leaped to an incorrect conclusion. When I re-read it, a second later, I laughed. For some reason, I felt it necessary to share my error.
It's a good name. It was just late and my brain was sputtering.

Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

Yes, I know, the spelling is not the same as the name. Names can be spelled any way one wants when doing the naming. Actually my friend, who is Puerto Rican, came up with the name. I wanted geckomama but it was already taken on Instagram and it kind of stuck now.

My best friend is into the herps... despite this, the best name he could devise for his pet snake was "Snakey." Never figured that one out.

And that's adorable. I name my pets after scientists, except for one that I named after Dunkin Donuts haha
