What Are Some Little Things People Do That Make You Mad?

Don't say thank you when I hold a door open, or don't hold a door open for me when they know I'm behind them.

Bugs me too. Some people just have no manners. I didn't have to hold the door open for you so the lease you can do is smile.

And kind of related - I hate how people appear to have this mentality that they want to avoid talking, smiling, or even making eye contact with other people in public. Have we sunk so low that we are this anti-social now? I despair. I don't know if this is just a British thing (it is very British, I must say) or if it's like this in other countries too.

USA also. When there is a crowd sometimes I might just as well be the door man. But then I didn't open the door for a thank you, but it wouldn't hut either.

We were both waiting in line for a few minutes but the thought didn't come to her until she starts to check out? I'm not really mad but definitely irritated.

This was something I experienced:

years ago a dental practice I went to had a hygienist who for whatever reason, did not have daycare for her 10 year old son.

So, the kid would 'hangout' in the exam room and watch mom do teeth cleanings.

Apparently, from the look I got from her, no one had ever objected to the kid staring at them before I did, and she rolled her eyes and acted put out when I requested the kid leave the room.


This same practice charged me an extra $35 dollars for my needing help with an insurance form and the dentist having to come to reception to answer a couple questions.


I regret making up a specious excuse for for them when I moved on to a different dentist, I should have really vented about what a rotten office they had.

Bringing young children into restaurants...especially ones that scream and throw shit everywhere. Fuck those people.

I was seated next to a couple with a bratty kid in a restaurant that was 98% EMPTY !

After about 4 minutes of the kid trying to start a conversation with me and kicking the the back of the booth, I grabbed my table setting and went as far away as I could get.

Mom and dad glared at me.


I should have jabbed a fork thru the kids throat.

LoL. I can relate.

I remember times when I used to go to church.. I would hold the door for someone, but then, did not want to close it on others, so I kept holding it. Sometimes I'd hold it for 80-100 people, when FINALLY someone decent said, "I got it", and took control of the door for me. During that time, I probably received 10 "thank yous".
