How it was forged.

RE: How it was forged.
I once had sex with a Muslim chick.

She said she was going to fuck the atheism right out of me and would fuck me like the US fucked her country over.

A bit of a hell cat....

We met at one of those Palestinian Chicken places.

Must be fun to watch.

There's plenty of that on YouTube. And not just in the comments. Shouting matches as Speakers' Corner happen often and it can be funny to listen to the childish loons.

Don't be taken in. Atlas comes here infrequently, always forgetting his password that requires a new account with an 'Atlas' monicker, to demonstrate his full arsenal of weapons grade stupidity. His entire shtick consists of exclaiming that only the Quran is true Islam always forgetting that most Muslims disagree with him. He also conveniently ignores the fact that it is other Muslims that he needs to convince and not a happy horde of atheists that consider the Quran as fucked up as the Bible.

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

indeed it is real, yet for a small number of people with limited thoughts it becomes the reason behind the killing. The big hounds though use this as a blanket for the deaths they cause to furthermore achieve their political goals, while cutthroats & criminals use it to fetch more money.

Not too many believe in their own sects or religions anyway. With time, it becomes nothing more than a blanket.

About introducing myself here, I was a member for 4 years under the same name -but I always manage to delete my email along with the password for reasons such as depression, and a minority complex being the only Muslim with such views here; hence a Muslim on an atheist ground-.
Thus I always leave and comeback in what you may call an infinite cycle Smile

As its medium was a mere book, and its content was no more than a message, indeed it wasn't unique or different than any other book or material in terms of analysis. The message can mutate via what you said : applying rationalization and justification to get what they want or explain their behavior. Not unique if we judged by "vulnerability" to extend or modify via external ideas.

Yet the immutable source offered an open ground to detect any modifications on the source. To me, here is where its uniqueness comes from.

Quote:[b]Ok great, so Quran 2:256 says that. So why then, the Ridda Wars (Wars of Apostasy)? These people were the Sahabah/Salaf yet even they were not given freedom of thought/religion.

He should've left them alone unless the Islamic nation was attacked first. The legacy of such move, escalated to turn the nation into another empire, as oppression was its first choice. The other rulers of the empire took the same path, until the fight consumed Muslims themselves in the Gamal incident (Battle of the camel) :

That escalation took no more than 25 years. To me, Abu Bakr made a very bad move, he ignored his own book.

I'm just trying to understand the glaring contradiction. But let's not forget, either, the story of the Sikh guru Guru Tegh Bahadur. When people try and pass up Muhammad as a rational individual they say things like "he was severely persecuted yet he continued to pass on the message", therefore he must be telling the truth. Guru Tegh Bahadur had it way worse than Muhammad; he was locked up in a cage by the Fascist Mugal rulers of India and beheaded in front of his friends. Yet, he remained convinced of the truth of Sikhism until his death. Need I go on?

Actually people who use such argument don't concern me. That's not what gave Mohammed the credibility. Matter in fact it was the promise written in the Quran in Sura 110 ; the promise that Mecca would be conquered.

Living in an Islamic country, I remember every minute that Muslims disagree with me, to the level of being judged and attacked by my family over it, mostly keeping my opinion a secret to avoid mental & physical prosecution over the sin of reading a book without listening to "talks; aka Hadiths". Ironic, funny, but yet again I do remember. So could you explain to me please, how you formed such an opinion ?

About the true Islam argument, a small puzzle might get things clear :

X wrote a book named "A".
Though Y wrote his own book, claiming its "an enhanced version of A; called the book B".

Where is the true, original A ? the one X wrote, or the one Y wrote ?

It's not that hard, cato..yes..stupid.

Been done. It was called 'The Crusades' and - if the reports are to be trusted - it wasn't as much fun as you'd think.
