Lilly's Sushi Adventure~

Yesterday, Dreamy and Kitty took me out to eat some raw fishes off of a 



There was a wide assortment of things I'd never tried before, such as



It turns out that while Texan is delicious enough: eel and calamari are amazingly 



I found myself rather happy with the taste and textures of the raw tuna and yellowtailed



I must have fully explored 15 different types of sushi with my mouth that day, and 14 of them must have been



But one of them was urchin. It turns out: urchin's texture is that of 'creamy shit', it was cold, and it tasted like you'd expect it to:



Abject Poverty, a species of West African Elephant, the only species of elephant that's not going extinct, as it has no



green grass around. Elephant poison that is. All in all, twas an adventure, twas fun, and I didn't even have to kill anyone~ ^__^

I love sushi and it doesn't have to be anything exotic. Just wrap it in seaweed stuffed with rice, dip it in soy sauce peppered with wasabi and it's all good. Hell, I even like the vegetable kind even though nothing had to die in order to sate my appetite.

It's always interested me. Turns out, it STILL interests me, but now in more of a intellectual sense than a curiosity to put it in my mouth

Yeah? But you'll never know if you like it if you never try it. Raw tuna was like eating raw beef: it was great. 


I used to be disgusted by the idea of it... but then i worked up the nerve to try it And i'm glad that I did~ Because it turns out: I LIKE SUSHI~

My favorite is shrimp sushi... that soy sauce mixed with wasabi is damn good, but a veggie california roll is good to me too (more in line with the majority of my diet).

Only thing i palate cleansed down yesterday was the urchin, everything else was between 'oh god this is the sex' and 'yeah, i can understand that'. 

I've really gotten a lot more adventurous, willing to have a not so good experience so long as i can satisfy my limitless curiosity. I'll try urchin again, if it doesn't look like a pool of poo I think that that association is what really did it in for me XD

.... Not that I would know what poo feels like to eat...

We have a place around here that makes marmalade and strawberry rolls... Those things are divine!
