State Trooper Jerimy Mathis, who shot Scott, is a 20-year-veteran of the Highway Patrol, according to WITN News. He claimed that the incident occurred after Scott refused to yield, and Mathis pursued him on foot. It led to an “armed confrontation”, according to Mathis, and he ultimately shot Scott. The public now knows that the confrontation led to Scott being shot in the back. It perforated Scott’s liver, struck the gallbladder and pierced his diaphragm, the results reveal. It ultimately lodged in the fleshy tissues beneath the skin of his right chest.

Okay here is what I am getting from you. You don't like these horrible things happening to innocent people but they are acceptable because they are within an acceptable range for you given the amount of cops to people ratio. For me I get furious with some of the incidents that have been posted. Cops should never hurt anyone unless there is zero choice but it looks like many of the time cops shoot first and say their life was in danger, sometimes we find out they even frame innocent people. We need to fight this and you G.S. need to fight this. Deep down you know I am right.

2. I am, insofar as I've seen, the only one who has actually interacted with the police to let them know we're watching them. I was on the civilian oversight board in San Diego when I was on active duty with the Navy. 

3. Yes, there are cops who need to have their chain yanked hard. Nobody else in this thread is doing shit other than being internet tough guys.

Funny but out of all the active members here, you're the only one I see bitching about the posts on this thread. You've been told before that if you don't like it, why not start a thread showing stories of police doing good. You've failed to do so. The only reason I can think of as to why you won't start one is because there just aren't enough stories of cops actually doing good. Or you're just full of shit and too fucking lazy to start one.

The only way to fix this problem is to teach everyone that you can't automatically trust cops. Get people to stop worshiping them, and they may actually have to face justice themselves.
