I feel like commending the PAPD for doing this psych exam and turning people away. They're doing it right. It really doesn't speak well of other departments, but if I was in the neighborhood I'd be less concerned about calling them for help.

And yeah, I feel like it makes it all the worse when we see cops doing their job correctly when it's a white guy, yet if it's a black guy he would have gotten gunned down in a second. Probably even before he started threatening them and their families. Just having a gun in his hand would have been all they needed to start firing. They'd just be happy they didn't have to go through the trouble of planting a weapon.
